XenApp 6 V4 Documentation Script Has Been Updated 6-Dec-2013
December 6, 2013
Two more issues were found shortly after the release of the V4.01 script. All reported issues have been fixed in this update thanks to the Citrix Community and their help and patience.
The issues that were fixed:
# Fixed bug where XA6ConfigLog.udl was not found even if it existed
This bug was reported by at least three people and Esther Barthel found and fixed the bug while writing her XenApp 6.5 book.
# Fixed bug where the functions in Citrix.GroupPolicy.Command.psm1 were not found
This bug has also been reported by several people and was fixed by Peter Bosen.
I appreciate the Community of script users who were very patient while we worked through debugging and troubleshooting trying to find the root causes of these two issues. Thanks to Esther and Peter for taking the time to dig into the scripts and fix the issues.
NOTE: This script is continually updated. You can always find the most current version by going to https://carlwebster.com/where-to-get-copies-of-the-documentation-scripts/

Hello Carl,
Wonderful effort, i made an attempt to learn powershell to understand your script 🙂
i need your help on two things:
1. The latest version of script shows “Updated November 15, 2013” but the article says “December 6, 2013”. Please help me find the latest copy.
2. i ran the “XA65_Inventory_V31” with verbose, and below is where i stuck. how to fix it to get the report with policy.
we have 100+ policy in my farm and this script is very much need to document the things. hope to hear back from you.
WARNING: Remoting is enabled.
WARNING: The Citrix.GroupPolicy.Commands module does not work with Remoting.
WARNING: Citrix Policy documentation will not take place.
VERBOSE: Finishing up Word document
VERBOSE: Set Cover Page Properties
VERBOSE: Update the Table of Contents
VERBOSE: Save and Close document and Shutdown Word
Happy new year in advance.

When I look in Dropbox, the file shows as version 4.02 with a date of December 5, 2013.
Unfortunately, Citrix did not add remoting capabilities the any of the group policy cmdlets or the module. The only way to get the policy data into the report is to run the script on a collector. Do not blame me, this is an oversight by Citrix that they will not be fixing.
Thanks
